This Is a little Christmas poem I wrote. I’m not that great at writing poems, but I hope you like it.
Christmas Was Coming
Christmas was coming, it was almost here!
The snow lay on the ground glistening white;
everyone was happy and full of good cheer.
Christmas was coming, for it was Christmas Eve night!
The presents were wrapped and under the tree,
the children were munching cookies, their little hearts full of glee.
Grandpa told stories of when he was a child
And then everyone sang silent night about an infant so tender and mild.
All too soon it was time for bed
and as the children laid down their little heads
they still hummed the carols they’d sung that day.
Christmas was coming, but wait it is here
For the morning had dawned outside bright and clear
Christmas is here, Christmas is here, so merry Christmas to you!
